Race for Justice
In 2020 Britain marked the 25th anniversary of Racial Justice Sunday, a movement which was set up partly in response to the murder of black teenager Stephen Lawrence and the struggle of many Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people to obtain equality and justice. Race for Justice, edited by CTBI’s Director of Justice and Inclusion, Richard Reddie, brings together a collection of voices on this vital issue from across the Christian denominations. Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church has launched an annual Bloomsbury Essay Prize in Black British History & Christianity. The prize is awarded for the best essay in Black British History on a topic related to Christianity. Deadline: February 2023
