Deacon Linda Kinchenton
We offer the work which has come from the De Havilland project and which is now moving into a new phase of its life and witness to God and ask for God’s guidance.
We give thanks for the gift of Journey Light our monthly gathering where local families and people come together to worship, to explore their faith and to study the Bible together.
We give thanks for the team, Linda and Chris, for their good working relationship and for the freedom to develop this Fresh Expression of Church in their own understanding under God’s prompting.
We give thanks for the Pop-up Café in Chipmunk Chase and the developing relationships that are happening.
We give thanks for the networking that is being established, especially between different groups connected with the local primary school – Howe Dell and other groups, particularly through the work of Hatfield Arise.
We give thanks for those who continue to support the project financially and in prayer.
We pray for the continued development of the Community room as an independent accessible space; for the volunteers who offer their time and energy; for the continued openness and wisdom as we seek to discern the way forward; for new opportunities on the estate, of getting to know more local families and further opportunities of networking; for the fun days and parties at Christmas, Easter and in the Summer; patience and goodwill as we work with the Town, Borough and County Councils in the provision of the hall; for more opportunities of funding; for the opportunities to share Jesus in actions and in word.
