Cross-shaped Christ, as you opened your arms to encircle humanity, so challenge us to embrace those in despair and offer them hope; those who are anxious and soothe their fears; those who loathe themselves by showing them love; and those whose reality is unclear by accepting them for who they are; in so doing, may we be your hands of grace for the sake of eternal Love. Amen.
